Rochester in Photos: June 2018

On a beautiful June evening in Rochester, I took a bike ride up the Genesee Riverway Trail toward the magnificent city skyline.  My favorite part of this trip, if you’ve never taken it, is how the city grows and expands as you make your way north along the Genesee River.

Our cities are incredible places.  Sometimes it just takes a different perspective to understand the majesty of their complex past and their ever-changing future.  A bike, a camera, and a love for urban life… some nights, that’s all you need.

Sometimes we take the beautiful bones of our cities for granted.  But with a cell phone and a bike, we can explore our brilliant urban landscapes on a beautiful night and fall in love all over again.
