Posted by I get that most people think about sandy all-inclusive beaches or epic European adventures when they talk about their bucket list. And believe me, I’m all about those longings as well. But the odd duck that I am, I’ve always wanted to take an Amtrak ride across the country in a sleeper car. About an hour and a half ago, that journey began. I’m going to do my best to take you with me on my trip to San Francisco by train in an effort to show everyone just how magical this experience can be.
We are currently speeding toward our next stop, Erie PA, having left Buffalo about 45 minutes ago. It’s dark outside, but it’s perfectly comfortable in my tiny private cabin of happiness. I’m too excited to sleep just yet but I’m sure I’ll get there. For now, I’m just enjoying a journey with no rules, a time with no distractions, and a n adventure of boundless possibilities!
